I bet Blaine was one of those adorable babies/toddlers who was chubby in all the right places and when he would go to a supermarket, he would try to pull down everything in the isle that he could reach, and soon as his mom picked it up she would be like “No Blaine, be good for mommy okay?” and he would just smile and clap his hands cause he thought it was funny on the 20th time too. So then Mrs Anderson would give up and give him a box of cheerios to munch on so he could keep his hands occupied. 

And when strangers would come up to him, they would coo and say how adorable he is and he would get all bashful and smile and reach his little arms out and make grabby hands because he wants to be held by anyone and everyone and people can’t resist because Blaine is that perfect baby that you just wanna hold and love.

And as Blaine started to speak his first words along with crawling and walking, he would try every way possible to get Cooper’s attention so he could witness a historical moment in the making, and Blaine was determined to get it. He would craw over to Cooper and pat his leg and try to tell him that he wanted to play, and of course Cooper would get on the floor with Blaine and tickle him and let Blaine fake beat him up.

Then Cooper would lay face down, and Blaine being curious, he would peak his head into the crook of Coopers elbow and he would make out Cooper’s name like “Coopah?” and put his face in his and ask him if he’s okay in Blaine language.

And at night, Cooper would walk into Blaine’s room and ask if he wanted to read a bedtime story right after he brushed his teeth and got into his rocket jammies. Blaine would go over to his shelf and pick out a book, and usually it was the same one cause Blaine loves animals. So when Cooper would get to the part when a certain animal made certain noises, Blaine would go “Mooooo” then start giggling, same thing when a duck or pig came along in the story.

Then eventually, Blaine would fall asleep in Coopers arms before he could even finish the story, and Cooper would lay Blaine down on his bed, and press a soft kiss on Blaine’s forehead and sigh as he watched Blaine cuddle with Mr Snuffles, his stuffed rabbit. And before leaving the room, Cooper would whisper “I love you Blaine” before flicking off the light and gently closing the door.

He has a Very Important Plan to carry out today. He’s spent all weekend planning this Plan, ever since Cooper thought it would be funny to stick his cousin’s butterfly clips in his hair before they went grocery shopping for mommy. 

He has the Proper Equipment with him too. Now he just has to wait, content with sitting in front of the television while Cooper does his homework in the kitchen. He fiddles with the crayons next to him, waiting for the perfect opportunity. 

Just like clockwork, the time comes eventually. The phone rings and Cooper considerably brightens as he gets up to go answer it. Blaine gets up carefully and toddles off towards the kitchen, pulling Cooper’s notebook off the table and carrying it back to the living room. He grins and opens his box of crayons, selecting a bright pink one to start with.

A long while later, he hears Cooper finally get off the phone and come back to the kitchen table. He hears as Cooper starts to rummage around his stack of books and his footsteps as he approaches the living room.

“Blaine, did you take my- Blaine!”

Blaine looks up innocently from where he’s scribbled multicolored butterflies all over Cooper’s notebook. “I needed paper, and you were busy on the phone,” he explains simply.
